The Legion of Valor is an organization of past and present military members who have received the Medal of Honor, Navy Cross, Distinguished Service Cross, or the Air Force Cross. Jaylee Hamilton is the 6th awardee in the history of the school to receive this recognition. CMP National Junior Air Rifle Championship
2019, 2021 & 2022
Daniel Boone made its first debut in the nationals in 2019 when they finished 27 out of 35 teams. Matches were shut down in 2020 due to COVID but in 2021 Daniel Boone High School earned a spot once again in the National Championship and finished with a respectable 8th place out of 43 teams. Now Boone's cadets have found their way to the top three in the country, it is their personal goal to have even greater success going into 2023.

The Daniel Boone High School Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (MCJROTC) Marksmanship Team has been consecutive champions of the Tennessee State Air Rifle Championship for the past three years.
JROTC Leadership & Academic Bowl (JLAB) National Championship

The JROTC Leadership & Academic Bowl (JLAB) is a nationally recognized academic competition created exclusively for JROTC students. By participating, our cadets learned the values of citizenship, leadership, academic competition, and college opportunity. The Daniel Boone High School MCJORTC Academic Team placed 3rd overall at JLAB in Washington D.C. 24-27 June, 2022.
